"Sharing is not about giving away what we have, but about creating joy and possibilities for others."
On behalf of DepEd Aklan and the family of our learner, Joena May De Luna, I want to express our heartfelt gratitude to the Association of Filipino Teachers and Educators in America (AFTEA) Inc. for their generous donation of a wheelchair to our Grade 1 learner at Manika Elementary School. Your kindness means a big impact to her life. Di na siya kakargahin ng lola nya araw araw papunta ng school.
A big thank you as well to the school head, Ma'am Bebing Villorente , to teacher Reina Rufin Maximo and the supportive PSDS, Sir Jude Ulysses Ruiz and District of Libacao, for facilitating the handing over of the wheelchair. Thank you hubby, Jay Tabernilla for always accompanying me.
Thank you po sa officers ng AFTEA, Inc. , for making this possible. Thank you for letting me visit the US. My New York experience became more meaningful because of AFTEA's love and assistance to all of us. Tapos, pag uwi ko, may natulungan pa kayong isang bata. MARAMING SALAMAT PO!
